One of the more unique characters from the
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animated series was
Count Marzo's ally
Chimera. In his first appearance in the season one episode
"The Once and Future Duke" he had a cold, threatening way of speaking, and his ability to teleport anywhere made him extremely notable. However, when the character returned in
He-Man's season two not only was he now a dimwitted henchman, but his look had changed dramatically! Here I present the model sheet for the character as he appeared in the season two episodes
"The Eternia Flower" and
"Search for a Son".

James, you've got a "pink" theme going on between this post and the previous Clawdeen post! :) I agree, and even though Chimera only made a growling sound in "Search for a Son," he talked and had an attitude like Jaw Breaker ("Orko's New Friend") for his appearance in "The Eternia Flower." :) For me, the pink colors don't seem to work for me, and I would rather him colored like Icer, from "The Ice Age Cometh." Also, I am wondering if this is really supposed to be some kind of "new and improved" version of the same character from "The Once And Future Duke" or if Count Marzo actually hired a new Chimera! Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)
Wow, Chimera really had some work done! A nose job, shaved his head and got a purple tan. I think Marzo has been trying out some magic on his servent...
I do wonder what made them change his appearance, they could even pass for two separate characters. He seemed to have returned to his season 1 personality in "Search for a Son" in which he was mute again.
