Who are the leaders?

After the UK Masters of the Universe comic changed direction and began telling stories focused on He-Man's new adventures in space, a reader asked a question in issue twenty two of the He-Man Adventure magazine that we all wanted to ask. The answer from Scrollos that Man-At-Arms and Hordak were now the respective leaders for the forces of good and evil on Eternia, never really sat well with me. I always thought that once Skeletor left, either Evil-Lyn would take control of the Evil Warriors, or there would be so much in-fighting that the group would disband...

Two Fright Zones?!

In issue thirteen of the UK Masters of the Universe comic Scrollos answers a question as to why the Fright Zone in the She-Ra cartoon series is different to the Fright Zone that appears in comic, which it should be stated is based on the toy playset. On this occasion I think the answer provided is actually quite logical...

Reading a comic...

In issue sixty of the UK Masters of the Universe comic, one reader in particular poses a very interesting question to Scrollos! I like the idea of Skeletor picking up a copy of the Masters of the Universe comic and learning all of the secrets! Sometimes these kids were way ahead of the writers of the comic...

Bio-synth-Convertabation.

Often in the UK Masters of the Universe comic's letters column they would make up things to appease the readers. For example in issue fifty-four a reader asks how Hordak is able to change his arm into a cannon. Now we fans would state something about Horde science being the reason for his abilities, but Scrollos, never to be outdone, explains that the technique Hordak employs to transform his arm into a cannon is called "bio-synth-convertabation". Yeah, right...

Who is right?

I have mentioned before how the letters column in the UK Masters of the Universe comic tended to disassociate itself from the cartoon. In this example from issue fifty-five we see that Scrollos declares that in reference to Roboto's origin, the comic is accurate, stating that the animated series makes changes to the warriors and their stories. I do not think Larry DiTillio writer of "Happy Birthday Roboto" would be too thrilled with that statement. Ironically the cartoon series had already finished production a year before the UK comic released its first issue! Funny that Scrollos chose not to acknowledge that...

A letter from Aidan Cross #2

Aidan Cross not only had the rare honor of having two letters published in the Masters of the Universe UK comic, but he had them published back-to-back. His first letter appeared in issue sixty-eight, and his second letter which asks a Grizzlor-related question appeared in issue sixty-nine!

A letter from Aidan Cross #1

If you do not know who Aidan Cross, is you should. Not only has he been around the He-Man and She-Ra on-line community since its earliest inception, but he also has the rare honor of having two letters published in the Masters of the Universe UK comic! His first letter which appeared in issue sixty-eight asks a valid King Hiss-related question...

Two more movies?!

Here is a quite stunning and unbelievable answer from Scrollos in the letters column of issue forty-nine of the UK Masters of the Universe comic. The reader asks if there will be any more live-action movies, to which Scrollos dares to respond that according to his Galactic Computer there will be two more movies! I think Scrollos needed to take his Galactic Computer to the scrap yard!

The Snakemen never served Hordak...

What I loved about the letters column that appeared in the UK Masters of the Universe comic is that either they did not want to associate themselves with the cartoon, or more likely they did not know too much about the cartoon. The writer of this letter that appeared in issue sixty-six is clearly referencing the She-Ra episodes in which we saw both Rattlor and Tung Lashor serve the Horde. I like how Scrollos flat out denies that the Snakemen ever served Hordak!

Cringer is a Lavicat?

An interesting question from a reader that appeared in issue sixty-one of the UK Masters of the Universe comic prompted Scrollos to reveal that Cringer is "Lavicat". I do not believe that Cringer's breed was ever revealed in any other canon, but while I take this with a pinch of salt it is interesting nonetheless.

Which hand?

The UK Masters of the Universe comic had a letters page, and often they were quite creative with their answers. They often made up facts to satisfy the curiosity of the reader, but in issue twenty-eight with regards to Fisto it appears that they got the answer completely wrong! Unless I'm reading it wrong...

Will He-Man ever die?

Here is an interesting question regarding He-Man that appeared in the letters page in issue sixty-two of the UK Masters of the Universe comic. What's your theory?
